Porter Academy of Arts and Sciences

Who Can Enroll

Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. Enrollment in courses is open to eligible students in these grade levels. Parents and guardians may also access select resources and support materials, but adult learners may not participate in K–12 classes during the regular academic year.

Registration and Payment

Enrollment at Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences is secured once registration is complete and payment is received. Families may pay in full by credit/debit card or request an approved payment plan. Payment plans require 25% of tuition at registration, with the remaining balance divided into equal monthly installments. Missed or returned payments may result in suspension or removal from courses. Summer and winter session courses must be paid in full at the time of registration.

Withdrawal, Transfers, and Refunds

We understand that schedules and needs sometimes change. Requests to withdraw or transfer must be submitted in writing through the parent portal.

  • Withdrawal Fees: A $100 administrative fee is applied for yearlong courses.

  • Refunds: Families may withdraw within the first two weeks of class and receive a refund minus the withdrawal fee. After the second Friday of the term at 5 PM, no refunds are issued. Students who withdraw after this deadline may remain on audit status, retaining access to course materials but without grading or credit.

  • Transfers: Families may request to move to a different section or course within the withdrawal period. Tuition differences will be adjusted accordingly.

Class Times and Cancellations

Course schedules are published prior to each term. Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses that do not meet minimum enrollment. If a course is canceled, families may transfer to another class or receive a full refund. In rare cases where a teacher cannot meet live, a substitute, an alternative section, or a recorded session may be provided.

Family Partnership

Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences believes parents and guardians are the primary stewards of their child’s education. Teachers provide instruction, assessment, and feedback, while families ensure that students complete assignments honestly and on time. Parents and guardians should regularly review progress in the learning portal and encourage diligence at home. Teachers may request parental confirmation of testing integrity when needed.

Academic Integrity

Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences expects honesty in all work. Cheating, plagiarism, or AI-assisted work submitted as original is a violation of our standards. A first confirmed offense will result in a zero on the assignment; additional violations may lead to dismissal without refund.

It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to maintain accurate and current contact information, including a valid parent email and telephone number, with Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences. School communication is primarily conducted via email, and families must ensure they receive and review official notices.

Reports and Transcripts

Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences provides grade reports and progress updates through the student portal. Official transcripts may be requested for a $25 processing fee.

Privacy and Copyright

All instructional materials, recordings, and resources provided by Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences are for registered students only. Sharing, distributing, or posting course content without permission is prohibited.
