Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences serves students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Enrollment is subject to completion of the academy’s enrollment process, review of required information and records, available program capacity, and completion of applicable tuition arrangements.

Families are responsible for providing accurate enrollment information and for notifying the academy when information relevant to the student’s enrollment changes.

Tuition, payment schedules, available payment arrangements, and Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account information are described on the academy’s current Tuition & Arizona ESA page and in any tuition or enrollment agreement provided to the family.

Arizona ESA award amounts vary. Families remain responsible for any tuition balance not covered by available ESA funds or other approved payments.

Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences is a fully online school designed for flexible learning at home. Students engage with course instruction, reading, guided academic materials, practice, assignments, discussion, assessment, and other learning activities through the academy’s approved systems and course materials.

The academy does not operate on a daily live-class model. Students are expected to follow published course requirements and academic timelines while using the flexibility provided within each course.

Periodic discussions, webinars, conferences, or other scheduled activities may be offered or required when identified in a course, calendar, or school communication.

The academy provides curriculum, instruction, academic expectations, assessment, and school communication. Parents and guardians support the learning environment at home as Learning Stewards.

Learning Stewards help students maintain appropriate routines, remain engaged with coursework, communicate when support is needed, and complete work according to academy expectations. The level of family support should change as students mature and develop greater academic responsibility.

Students are expected to participate consistently in assigned coursework, submit required work, complete assessments, respond to academic feedback, and meet published course and school deadlines.

Academic progress may be evaluated through assignments, discussions, quizzes, examinations, written work, projects, presentations, and other forms of assessment appropriate to the course.

Families should review school communications and student progress regularly and respond when the academy identifies missing work, academic concerns, or a need for additional support.

Students must submit work that accurately represents their own learning. Cheating, plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, fabrication, or presenting work created by another person or unauthorized tool as the student’s own work may result in academic consequences.

Artificial intelligence tools may only be used when the course or assignment instructions permit them. When AI use is permitted, students remain responsible for following the assignment requirements and for accurately representing their own work and understanding.

Responses to academic-integrity concerns are handled according to the academy’s current academic policies and the circumstances of the incident.

Each enrolled student must have access to a computer, reliable Wi-Fi, and a personal email address that is monitored by a parent or guardian.

Students and families are responsible for using academy accounts, learning platforms, course materials, and digital resources appropriately. Login credentials should not be shared with unauthorized users.

Attempts to interfere with, bypass, damage, misuse, or gain unauthorized access to academy systems may result in restricted access or other action under school policy.

School communication is primarily conducted electronically. Parents and guardians are responsible for maintaining a current email address, reviewing academy communications, and notifying the school when contact information changes.

A personal email address monitored by a parent or guardian is part of the academy’s technology requirements and should be checked regularly for enrollment, academic, and school information.

The academy maintains student information and academic records needed to operate the school and provide educational services. Records are handled according to applicable privacy requirements and academy procedures.

Families should use the academy’s designated enrollment, records, or secure submission process when providing student records. Sensitive records should not be sent through a general website contact form.

Course materials, instructional videos, recordings, documents, assessments, graphics, and other academy resources are provided for authorized educational use by enrolled students and families.

Academy materials may not be copied, republished, publicly posted, sold, distributed, or shared outside the authorized household or user account unless the academy or applicable rights holder gives permission.

Families wishing to withdraw a student should contact the academy through the designated enrollment or records process. The effective withdrawal date, academic record status, tuition responsibility, and any refund eligibility are determined by the enrollment and tuition terms that apply to the student.

Withdrawal does not automatically cancel outstanding financial obligations or other responsibilities established in an applicable enrollment or tuition agreement.

The academy may revise courses, instructional resources, schedules, systems, procedures, or school policies when changes are needed to support academic quality, student needs, school operations, technology, safety, or legal and regulatory requirements.

Material changes that affect enrolled families will be communicated through appropriate school channels.

Porter Hill Academy of Arts and Sciences is a Christian school. Its mission, educational philosophy, curriculum, school culture, and expectations are informed by a biblical worldview and the academy’s Statement of Faith.
